3.2 will not support the fixture option on $.get and $.post. You can still set it in $.ajax. We are trying to get away with setting the fixture option in the $.ajax request. Instead, fixtures will be set in another file. So if your model looks like:
for example when creating a dynamic fixture the function doesn't get a "settings" and "callbackType". It looks to get 3 parameters, one of which is the settings. The other two are some other objects, nothing that looks like a "callbackType".
The urls defined there are just REST end points. In most cases there aren't any actual JSON files. What happens is your REST service sees the incoming URL and gets to work retrieving/updating/creating and uses the file extension to determine how the response should be formatted.
