FuncUnit standalone, just funcunit.js, combined with pavlov.js and/or specit.js?

New to FuncUnit. I really appreciate the simplicity of getting started, handling asynchronous UI events, etc. It's a blast! Is it possible to add on other assertions with pavlov.js or specit.js? Any gotchas when trying to add other testing QUnit compatible frameworks? I saw the post about using specit within JSMVC using the steal plugin. Is that somehow an option outside of JSMVC?

Is there are a particular version of QUnit that FuncUnit is based on?

Yeah definitely. It would be really easy to add other assertions, you'd just have to include the file that defines them.

But to completely replace QUnit, you'd need another testing framework that provides callbacks for testStart, done, all tests start/done, etc. The FuncUnit code uses those QUnit hooks to report results and open/close browsers in Selenium mode.

I assume the gist you showed still provides QUnit hooks with some syntactic sugar to provide that BDD style API.

Thanks much! When I tried just including the files Specit errored out on $ not being defined and pavlov errored out on describe not being defined. There might be other changes to either specit.js or pavlov.js to get them to play nicely with funcunit.

Once I included require-jquery specit no longer complained (app is require+jquery+backbone... will look into javascript mvc in the future

). And specit works fine now. pavlov.js still complains that describe is not a function so I haven't figured out how to get that to run with it. But specit works so that's good enough for me for now.

But I'd love to be able to do something like

FuncUnit._window.$(function() {
_w = FuncUnit._window;

});

to know when the document, scripts and such are fully loaded. I'm using require.js so perhaps that is messing it up but either way this is good.
