Why are scripts taking so long to load?  

i'm not sure.  i running off a .NET Development Server locally and running qunit in FF3.6.  there are 30+ scripts and each takes around a second to load.  could it be because they are not caching?  i know that steal calls then one by one due to the dependencies.  when i put it in production mode it's fast because it's only one script but there doesn't seem to be a production mode for qunit based on the documentation.  Here's a sample from firebug

technically there are certain plugin dependencies that aren't needed for the unit tests since i'm only testing the models.  is there a way to exclude them when performing the qunit test?

it appears that the problem was that steal was being declared in the head of the html page as opposed to the bottom of the body.

once i put this at the bottom, the problem went away.  it was defaulted in the head when the code was generated.  something you might want to look into justin.  thanks for checking in. 

I think there must be something wrong with your setup.  Event.js is less than 1k and it is taking 1 second to load.  Even on a 56k modem, it should take WAY less than a second.

i had to disable  network.dns.disableIPv6 on firefox.  it's super fast now.  at least locally.
